Depending on which dealer you visit, the definition of refurbished will be different. Some dealers will take the body off a cart, repaint it, paint the front end, do a basic service, put the cart back together, add a bunch of accessories and call the cart rebuilt. Very little if any attention is given to the mechanical or electrical system of the cart and can even sold with used or re-manufactured batteries. When shopping for a refurbished cart, be sure and ask specifically: what has been rebuilt? Does the cart come with new batteries or used batteries? Here at I-4 Power a refurbished cart is stripped back to the frame and any wear items that show significant wear are replaced. Then either a new or repainted body is installed along with brand new batteries, brand new: tires, seats, windshield, lights, mirrors, and wheel covers.
